Vegetative-vascular dystonia. Diagnostics, VVD treatment

The patients, who come to us in our clinic with the request to cure them of vegetative-vascular dystonia usually complain on:
•    excessive fatigability,
•    instability of emotional condition,
•    tachycardia,
•    discomfort in the area of thorax,
•    disturbances in work of heart,
•    stomach and intestine problems,
•    excessive sweating,
•    attacks of dyspnea,
•    paresthesia or “creeping sensation”,
•    increase of temperature,
•    lump in throat feeling,
•    numbness of extremities,
•    depression of motivation,
•    meteosensitivity.

However, from our point of view the diagnosis of vegetative-vascular dystonia tells nothing about causes of disease and accordingly doesn't give the possibility to treat effectively the patients with such complaints. Doctors often make the diagnosis of VVD when they find it difficult to tell something defined about the reasons of the patients’ feeling sick.

In case of traditional approach to VVD treatment there are basically prescribed for the patients various sedative and vascular preparations, which give only temporary effect and even not for all of them.

From our point of view the presence of symptoms of vegetative-vascular dystonia is the consequence of disturbance of work of internals: liver, gall bladder, thyroid gland, kidneys, etc. In case of disturbances in work of these organs there suffers the work of brain vessels, nervous centres and backbone trunks. At modern scientific level these interrelations are still badly investigated, but they are for a long time known to experts of traditional Chinese medicine.

Before treatment of a vegetative-vascular dystonia we establish the reasons of complaints of the patient. We find out that negatively influences a condition of the vegetative-vascular regulation, what organ bears responsibility for feeling sick of the patient.

Diagnostics of patients with vegetative-vascular dystonia gives us the possibility to identify:

•    condition of nervous system;
•    condition of vascular nervous system;
•    the reasons of vegetative-vascular disturbances;
•    the reasons-intermediaries.

After diagnostics of VVD there is composed an individual program of treatment. The vegetative-vascular dystonia treatment is first of all directed at elimination of disturbances in problem organs and systems and at stabilization of energetic balance. After achievement of these objectives we achieve normalization of condition of nervous and vascular systems.

Such scheme gives us the possibility to achieve positive take in treatment of vegetative-vascular dystonia almost in each specific case without pharmacology application.

Example of our treatment of a vegetative-vascular dystonia:

Patient D., 35 years old. He came in our clinic with already made diagnosis of VVD with the following complaints:
•    periodic increase of pressure – 150/100;
•    delicacy;
•    headaches;
•    giddiness.

Before visit to our clinic he passed long-term treatment of vegetative-vascular dystonia which gave no desirable effect. So after examination and course of VVD treatment in Germany there was recommended for the patient to constantly administer hypotensive and vascular preparations.
According to the results of VVD diagnostics in our clinic there was identified the herpes virus in lumbar plexus and adrenals and lesion of liver with fungoid infection.

Treatment of vegetative-vascular dystonia was basically directed at elimination, identification of infections and stimulation of the affected organs in order to normalize their functions. After two-week course of VVD treatment the condition of the patient was normalized. The patient ceased to complain of increased pressure, headaches, delicacy and giddiness. During observations of the patient within a year there were not observed any relapses of symptoms of vegetative-vascular dystonia.
